Discribing natural surroundings. My city lies on the middel of the Cádiz bay. River Guadalete runs along the South-East of the city centre and flows betwen "Puntilla" beach and "Valdelagrana" beach. For years, the city had been surrounded by pine forest saltmarsh but, unfortunately many of them were replaced by housing developments. Some forest still remain, such as "St Antón", "Algaida" or "The Coig", also a place called "Toruños" saltmart was declared natural park. Currently there live a lot of protected birds species, for instance the fisher-eagle, that it´s in danger of extinction. The weather is sunny most of the year and the temperatura is moderated by proximity of the ocean. There are sixteen kilometers of beaches were you can swim, fish, do acuatic sports, or just rest lying on its Golden sands. There are not big mountains however, there are a lot of trails that you can go by muntain bike, running or walking.
