밥은 뭐가(무엇이) 좋을까요?
word:
밥(dinner, lunch, breakfast etc)
무엇이 (what)
좋을까요? (want to (eat) ?)
sentence: what do you want to eat food for dinner? (at future)
~좋을까요 used when you ask he or her that want to do(eat or etc) something
~좋을까요? = 좋다 + 을 + 까 + 요 ?
Maybe you thought that ~좋을까요 meaning is 'like' (= 좋아하다).
but the word meaning is (좋다).
~좋아하다. (like)
~좋다. (good, fine, nice, better (than), superior (to) ,fair, pleasant (기후가) mild, well-built )
The word is similar but it is diffrerent.
~을 meaning is the future tense word.
~까 used for question.
~요 used for honorific speaking.
(can I ~, may I ~ = ~요)
저는 삼겹살을 좋아하는데, (당신은) 어떤 음식을 좋아하세요?
= 저는 삼겹살을 좋아합니다. 그런데 (당신은 = you) 어떤 음식을 좋아하세요?
= I like 삼겹살. so what's your favorit food?
좋아하는데 = 좋아하다(like) + ~는데
~는데 used for connection between sentence when the setence have same topic.
and 좋아하세요? = 좋아하다 + 세요?
~세요 is honorific speaking in the sentence.
used for higher age or nonfriend.
ex) would you~ , could you ~ , should you ~ = ~세요.
