Journalism in wartimes and other things From a long time ago until today, journalism has been too important to report about different conflicts all over the world. Journalists have always risked to give the last news about wars in a dangerous conditions. Journalism is always related with a free society. Sadly, other journalist has been murdered by a fanatic islamic group that is conquering Iraq. Without a doubt, this is another stupid death of a person that was only working. However, we can not forget that the iraqi war has just killed a lot of people since 2003. One time again, all deads don't have the same valour. Two important questions about the violence in Iraq would be: Why cannot the Islamic world live in peace? Why cannot democracy triumph in these countries? About the first question, my personal opinion is that religion and Imperialism have caused huge social divisions in countries like Iraq, Siria, Egypt and so on. The second question is related with the first. A democratic system needs peace and stability, if there aren't neither of them democracy will not have success. The way to democracy is long and not always easy. The politicians should understand this.
