Using Italki

I have been using this site for 3 days. However, I wondered why I didn't couldn't fix my writhing after submission. submit.
That It's the same operation in the discussion or answer sections.
I would like it if there was an want to include edit function included on the site.
and When I received my first message, I couldn't notice see the message. I want an alarm to sound.
Did I miss that? I agree that the site is good, even amazing. But there are some functions missing. Is anyone else aware of this? Is there a reason for it?

Do you know about the missing?
The missing have some purpose?
