A weekend as I like them Hello everybody, It's a poor Monday in east of France with a grey cloudy sky like a day of Novembrer. I use my morning break at work to read this note and practice my english because I didn't work it during the weekend excepted on Friday in the evening when I watched Ghostbusters 2 in English. This weekend was a weekend as I like it. On saturday I tinkered a lot and made shopping (to tinker), on Saturday in the evening I went to the diner that my sister-in-law prepared for her birthday (I don't tell how she is because it's impolite). On Sunday, I tinkered a little in the morning, I played with my son (cars, lego) and watched Barclay's Premier League in my sofa. I also recieved advices from one of my sister-in-law who lived in England during many years about learning English. She recommanded to watched English news on the BBC because they talk a good and clearly english and she recommanded me for fun to watch the Jeff Dunham's show with Achmed the dead terrorist because it's a funny choice to learn English. Now it's time to work but don't worry because as Arnold said: "I'll be back!"

A weekend as I like them

Hello everybody,

It's not a great Monday in the east of France with a grey cloudy sky similiar to a day in Novembrer. I used my morning break at work to read this note and practice my English because I didn't work at it during the weekend except on Friday in the evening when I watched Ghostbusters 2 in English. This weekend was a weekend as I like it. On Saturday I tinkered a lot and went shopping, on Saturday in the evening I went to a dinner that my sister-in-law had prepared for her birthday (I won't tell you how old she is as that would be impolite). On Sunday, I tinkered a little in the morning, I played with my son (cars, lego) and watched Barclay's Premier League on my sofa. I also recieved advice from one of my sister-in-laws about learning English as she had ived in England for many years.  She recommended that I watch the English news on the BBC because they speak a clear and succinct English and she said it would be fun for me to watch the Jeff Dunham's show with Achmed the dead terrorist because it's an enjoyable way to learn English.
Now it's time to work but don't worry because as Arnold said: "I'll be back!"

A weekend as I like them

Hello everybody,
It's a poor* {better="bleak"} Monday in the east of France with a grey cloudy sky, like a day of in November. I use my morning break at work to read this note and practice my English because I didn't work on it during the weekend, excepted on Friday in the evening when I watched Ghostbusters 2 in English. This weekend was a weekend as I like it. On Saturday, I tinkered a lot and made went shopping ({for things} to tinker {with}). On Saturday, in the evening, I went to the a dinner that my sister-in-law prepared for her birthday (I don't tell won't say how old she is because it's impolite). On Sunday, I tinkered a little in the morning, I played with my son (cars, lego) and watched Barclay's Premier League in from my sofa. I also received advices** from one of my sister-in-laws*** who lived in England during for many years about learning English. She recommanded to watching English news on the BBC because they talk speak a good and clearly English, and she recommended me, for fun, to watch the Jeff Dunham's show with Achmed the dead terrorist because it's a funny choice to learn English with.

Now it's time to work, but don't worry because, as Arnold said: "I'll be back!"

*We don't usually use "poor" in this way in English. Some desciptions that could be used: "bleak", "grey", "uneventful", "depressing".

**Advice can be both singular and plural in English.

***Since you mentioned that she is "one" (of several), then it's "from one of my sister-in-laws". Otherwise, you can just say "...advice from my sister-in-law".

A weekend as I like them

Hello everybody,
It's a poor Monday in the east of France with a grey cloudy sky like a day of November. I use my morning break at work to write this note and practise my english because I havent practised it during the weekend except on Friday in the evening when I watched Ghostbusters 2 in English. This weekend was a weekend as I like. On saturday I tinkered a lot and made shopping (to tinker), on Saturday in the evening I went to the dinner that my sister-in-law prepared for her birthday (I don't tell how she is because it's impolite). On Sunday, I tinkered a little in the morning, I played with my son (cars, lego) and watched Barclay's Premier League in my sofa. I also recieved advices from one of my sister-in-law who has lived in England for many years for learning English. She recommanded to watch English news on the BBC because they talk in a good and clear english and she recommanded me to watch the Jeff Dunham's show for a fun  with Achmed the dead terrorist because it's a funny choice to learn English.
Now it's time to work but don't worry because as Arnold said: "I'll be back!"
