Nightmare. The last week I had a terrible nightmare. When I woke up I felt really frightened. In fact, I lie awake at that night, and I took sleeping pills because I had insomnia. When it sunrise came I got up for working but I felt like very tired. In the job I felt sleepy and I fell asleep, I woke up when I heard a noise. At night I didn't stay late and I got bed soon, before of bedtime and at last I had good night sleep. Into the nightmare, I was crawling a long the road, I saw the cars towards me and I tried to run towards the trees. When I arrived close the trees I tried to climb up them, but I was very frightened and I could not do it. Then I looked at back me and there were people instead cars and they chased me along the park. I felt like frightened and then I woke up. It’s was an awful nightmare. If you have a few minutes and are able to review my composition I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

I will explain more of the corrections I made:

- The past participle of the verb "to lay" (which is the correct one for your context, and not "to lie") is laid (More info here: http://www.grammar-monster.com/easily_confused/lay_lie.htm)

- The use of "like" : If you say exactly the way you felt (good/bad/not so well), there is no need to use "like". You should use it when you give an explanation about how you feel. Example:
I feel good this morning. (No need to use "like")
I feel like I am about to throw up (or say "I feel nauseous")
I feel like I can do everything that I want (or say I feel empowered/energized/etc..)

You're welcome. 'Hope you'll sleep better.

Into the nightmare, I was crawling along the road, I saw the cars driving (or coming) towards me, and I tried to run towards the trees. When I arrived (or got) close to the trees, I tried to climb up them, but I was very frightened and I could not do it.
