My neighborhood

Actually  I live in San Francisco in Mexico city. My neighborhood is safe. Because it's in the center, there are many polices  [1]. There are many restaurants and café stores. There are a lot of grocery stores  and schools, too. There are few gyms [2]. The neighborhood is very  noice  nice, but my  department  apartment  is  in  on  the fifth floor. I live with two  roomies  roommates  [3].
There aren't movie theaters, but there is a subway near to me. The subway is on Ribera de San Cosme  a  Avenue, next to the school [4].

----------

[1] The word "police" is already a collective noun (i.e., more than one), which means you cannot add "s" to suggest more than one.  One officer is a "police person", "policeman", or "policewoman".  Many officers together are "police".

[2] Be careful here. Here is your sentence:

"There are few gyms."

This means there are very few gyms (maybe one or two).

Here is a slightly different sentence:

"There are a few gyms."

This means there are a small number of gyms (maybe three to six).

[3] "Roomies" is not a real word, hence you should not use it in written English.  It's fine in casual conversation or when text messaging.  But if you're writing for English class, or practicing written English online, you should always use the formal word.

[4] If this is an assignment for English class, you may want make a slight change to your sentence:

"The subway is on Ribera de San Cosme Avenue, next to the school."

The above sentence suggests that it is Ribera de San Cosme Avenue which is next to the school.  If you mean the subway is next to the school, then you should make a slight change to your sentence:

"The subway is next to the school on Ribera de San Cosme Avenue."

Please don't worry about the number of corrections and comments I have made.  I've done this in case they may help.  Yet your composition was good, and your meaning was clear.  Well done!
