IELTS ( Writing 1) , My first letter ===================================================================================================== You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope. Write a letter to the bank's head office. In your letter: explain why you are writing express concern about the missing card ask them what they intend to do Begin your letter as follows: Dear ________, You should write at least 150 words. You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. =========================================================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to draw your attention to the fact that my bank card is missing from the envelope you sent me. When I got the letter from the bank with the card I was very disappointed because the envelope was empty and therefore I cannot use my bank card soon. This problem is very significant because I worry about my personal bank account information and about the card’s PIN code. I believe the best way to rectify the situation is to temporarily block all financial operations on this card and make a new PIN code and other card details like the card number and Internet banking information. I hope this matter will be resolved as soon as possible. Please contact me during the day on my mobile phone number 00000. Thank you in advance for your help in straightening out this matter. Yours faithfully, Vik --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
