My first day tour in Ireland. My first day tour was to Glendalough, Kilkenny and Wicklow mountains. All day was raining, I hadn't a raincoat or water boots. The wind broke my umbrella, so I wet all body. My wet shoes did to hurt me in the feet, and I couldn't walk well. The first stop was in the Dunmore caves, near from Kilkenny. I saw the caves but I didn't understand the history because the guide spoke with much Irish accent. The Irish accent is different of british accent which I study. Then, I visited the city Kilkenny for one hour. I saw its famous castle and some parks. It's a beautiful city. The next stop was in Lakes of Glendalough, we was there for 15 minutes. I took some photos and contemplated the landscape. If Ireland hadn't been so cold, I would have wanted swimming in the great lake. Then we went to Glendalough, it was the last stop. There were a big mountains and a old cemetery. Also I saw a nice tower and the ruins of a monastery. The cemeteries from Ireland are different than the Spanish cemeteries. In Ireland, all tombs are in the land and here some tombs are in a big wall. The door was as in the movies, it was of iron and it was doing noise. When I finished to see the town, I went to a café. I met a person from San Francisco and more people from Spain. The San Francisco woman was very interesting, she was working in Silicon Valley and we spoke about this. I had studied about this topic in economics class. She told me that she was reporting to younger people for that they worked there. The landscapes that I saw since bus, were great!! There were green pastures with cows and sheeps as in the movies. When I returned to Dublin, the first thing I did was buy a raincoat and a water boots in "Penneys". The day was exhausting, but it worthed.
