The next person would be Michael Corleone from Godfather. This is no doubt one of my favorite literary figures. Michael is a veteran of the Pacific War who comes from a renowned Mafia family in NYC. While unlike his other two brothers and his father, Michael was at first complete not interested in the family business. He has a beautiful girl friend and should live a very ordinary American life. However, the news of his father’s being shot five times for refusing a deal shocked Michael. Then after being beaten unjustly by a police officer, Michael decided to avenge on his father and smuggled to Sicily after shooting to death the police captain and the man who had others try to assassin Michael’s father. Despite his involvement in violence, Michael is a great role model and thus influenced me greatly. Unlike his two brothers, Michael is more mature and never takes actions too easily and too fast. His preparations are always to the smallest detail and thus he never hesitates when the time comes. While I don’t fully agree with his father that one’s destiny has decided one’s life, but so many things combined have molded Michael’s future that he has to obey, finally turning from a respected veteran to the godfather of the biggest gang family in New York. Talking to him in the dinner would be valuable, his every manner makes him the best candidate for excellence and his dramatic experience leave so many questions for me to think about, about it is what that determines our future and life.

The last person I’d like to invite would be Guy Montag. Fahrenheit 451 is a tough novel for me at first but it contains something valuable. In a ridiculous world where firefighters burn books into ashes instead of putting off the fire, Montag was finally awakened after his meeting with Clarisse, a wonderful girl who loves reading and talking with family members and who enjoys the beauty of nature. Montag’s opinion about books was changed forever afterwards, instead of taking orders to incinerate books with other firefighters, he started to co-operate with an ex-professor, Faber, and finally hid in the countryside with the few who also want to revive reading, as a result of being wanted for hiding books and burning captain Beaty to death. This book impressed me very much, the world depicted in the novel is somewhat similar to our real world, where more and more of us choose to watch soap plays instead of going out and start to think books are useless and even harmful. Montag is not as intelligent as Michael that he never has a clear plan of what to do, but he’s still prominent as a person who tries to escape from the confinement the society imposes on every citizen and as a co-founder planning to build a new refreshing city on the relics of their old one destructed by war. Talking to him in the dinner would be memorable for me. Above all, a man who risks everything including his life and the loss of his wife to save the world and pave a way to truth should be respected.

If you are going to invite 3 literary figures to dinner, who would you like to invite and why

The charm beauty of literature transcends is beyond the limit of time and space; only to be limited by one's imagination. , time and any material. The world of literature world is also full of daring charming heroes, beautiful maidens fair and wondrous unicorns and great from legends. Having dinner with my favorite three literary figures would amazing.   thus be of great fun, and these three figures I would be like the famed Alice from Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland, Michael Corleone and Guy Montag at my table. [You need to be less formal and be warmer by varying your sentence structures]

When I was just a toddler, Dad had used to read the novel Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland over and over again next to me in the at bedtime. Sometimes when I had already fell fallen asleep, Dad’s narrative voice could still pass through the mist of my dreams; [Good expression!] reaching knocking at the doors of my the secret garden in my heart.  I would be like where Alice starting out her wonderful journey to Wonderland.

Two years ago, I then tried to read this the English version of this novel, two years ago when one day I suddenly remembered every the joys and charms of the book had brought story came flooding back to me. Having dinner with her would be so much fun and so many questions I can put forth to her.  She is the key that unlocks the fantasy of every child.  that I would have the opportunity to talk to her, and indulge myself in a childhood dream the book had raised in me, which is memorable since it may be first book that introduces the wonderful world of literature to every little child like me.
