The difference between "Anything" and "Nothing"?

ANYTHING = 1 of the things ( it is positive) (algo / alguna cosa)
NOTHING = 0 ( none) of the things(it is negative) (nada)

En Ingles, no se puede decir "no tengo nada," porque es un negativo doble y no se puede usarlo en Ingles. Tenemos que decir " no tengo alguna cosa, (lo que significa 'no tengo una cosa, " porque as positivo

In English, you can not use a double negative. You can NOT say "I do not have nothing," you must say I do not have anything. (meaning I do not have one thing).

READ THE EXAMPLE: / LEE EL EJEMPLO

PART 1
A: Is anything wrong? Do you have any problems?
B: NO I have no problems. Nothing is wrong!

PART 2
A: Are you sure that you do not have ANY problems?
B: No. I do not have ANY problems

In PART 2 - we must avoid double negatives (this is not because of the meaning, it is because you can't use double negatives in English)

Anything = algo / nada. Por ejemplo,

1. No compré nada. = I didn't buy anything.

2.¿Compraste algo? = Did you buy anything?

Nothing = nada. Poe ejemplo,

1. Compré nada. = I bought nothing.

What's the difference between "Anything" and "Nothing"?

Anything is a thing of any kind = Is there anything I can do for you? Is there anything in the box?

Nothing means not anythng = There is nothing I can do for you. There is nothing in the box.
