A Gecko I saw a gecko in kitchen of my house a few weeks ago. And sometimes I saw it in the front door. I felt that something was wrong with my tiptoe when I went out. I took off right shoes and I checked it. There was a gecko in my shoes as I thought. I was a little sad, because I chose to take a gecko out of shoes. The Gecko is said to bring good luck. Because, I write it as "house protect (家守)" in a Kanji. And then I found a gecko in a washroom of house yesterday. I couldn't touch it, but I thought lovely and came back to my house again. I was glad. I dripped water from a faucet and gave to it water, and it licked water with a small tongue. I didn't see a gecko today, I think that it is somewhere in my house. ----- 私は2、3週前に家のキッチンで家守を見ました。そしてときどき私は玄関でそれを見ました。私が出かけたとき、私はつま先に何か違和感がありました。私は右の靴を脱いで確認しました。思った通り家守が靴の中にいました。私は靴から家守を取り出すことにしたので少し悲しくなりました。家守は幸運をもたらすと言われています。家守を漢字で「家を守る」と書くからです。そして私は昨日家の洗面所で家守を見つけました。私はそれに触ることができませんでしたが可愛いく再び家に戻って来たと思いました。私は嬉しかったです。私は蛇口から水を垂らして水を与え、そして小さな舌で水を舐めました。私は今日家守を見ていませんが、家の何処かに居ると思います。

A Gecko

I saw a gecko in kitchen of my house a few weeks ago. Sometimes I saw it ON the front door. I felt that something was wrong with THE TIP OF MY TOE when I went out. I took off MY right shoe and I checked it. There was a gecko in my shoe as I thought. I was a little sad, because I chose to take THE gecko out of shoe. The Gecko is said to bring good luck.
