Scotland's Independence

I think that this is difficult issue because The Britain is a country very rich country and has an economy (that is ) relatively stable (and has a relatively stable economy?). Nevertheless, we don't know if Scotland will be keep (will remain in) (will decide to stay in) this economy.

Practice your adverbs and always remember than the indefinite pronoun "a" becomes "an" when it is placed in front of a word that starts with a vowel.

Examples:

A country

an economy

a president

an ambassador

It will be interesting to see what the Scot's decide! It will be a critical vote for the future of the UK.

Scotland's Independence

I think this is a difficult issue, because Britain is a very rich country that has a relatively stable economy. Nevertheless, we don't know if Scotland will be able to keep its economy stable, if independent.

Hi Ana,

You've started well, and I feel that you wanted to say more but you stopped yourself. In any discussion like this there are many opinions, many scenarios, and many possible outcomes. My advice is to start again, and try to write 100 words giving the advantages and disadvantages of voting for independence, and then you'll see how much easier it is to write about this topic.

Scotland's Independence

I think this is a difficult issue, because The Britain the United Kingdom [Britain is not a country, and the island is called Great Britain] is a country very rich country and has a relatively stable economy relative stable.

Nevertheless, [nevertheless means anyway, and doesn't make sense in this sentence.] We still don't know if Scotland will be keep vote to stay in this economy.

As I know, England governement collect tax from the UK and Scotland, but only develop England not Scotland so unfair to cause Scottish to live in underprivileged economy.
