Mobile phone When I was in Junior highschool and it was the first time where mobile phone becomes popular here. I don't know exactly the year but I remember my older brother was the first person in my family who bought a mobile phone, It was a nokia 8210 serie. In indonesia there are 2 bill systems, prepaid and postpaid. Most of us use pre-paid for mobile phone. And for pre-paid there are 2 ways to top up your account, buy a card that contains code to top up your account by yourself or the seller transfers some amounts of credits using his/her phone to our account ( we called it "Electric top up" ). Time passed so quickly and technologi have been growing so fast. We can do anything from phone nowadays.

I'm also from Indonesia... It's about 20-22 years ago first I saw a mobile phone, my brother own it, his big boss gave it to him so he could reach my brother anytime (LOL). I forgot the brand, it was as big and as heavy as half brick long and it cost about $ 2000 also. What made mobile phone expensive that time was beside it was new technology, it's also because there were not many service provider like nowadays, so when you buy the phone you must register and subscribe for a number. I remember that time, people who own the mobile phone, were walking differently and with so much pride while carrying it :D

Yes, only 1 decade and anything has changed so much. That's why I'm not really big fan of technology because it's a fast way to spending your money in no time..lol Short message, chatting, browsing, phone call are enough for me :D

Yes bro.I remember that my uncle bought a phone ''Ericsson''.He had paid 2000 $ for this phone.He was able to buy a new flat with double of this amount.Like you said, Technology has been growing so fast and by cheapening
