Waiting line

I went to the shopping mall (today, yesterday, the other day?).

I found out that there was going to be a concert at the shopping mall, because people were waiting in line. (Did you ask the people waiting in line, or did you read a sign or something?)
The concert was free because of publicity activities. (この文は日本語で何といいますか）

I saw people were waiting in line at 11am, so I thought the concert would begin soon.
But I checked the starting time of the concert, and it was 6pm.
So these people were going to(or 'willing to') wait more than 6 hours (just) to see the concert ! 

I wanted to see the concert because singer who I like would be there.
But I can't wait more than 6 hours, so in the end I didn't see the concert.

Yeah, I would not want to wait more than 6 hours for a concert either. Unless it was someone I really really liked! ^^;
