Could you correct my short post? Many thanks in advance for your help.
How are things going? i hope all is well with you and this letter finds you in good health and in happiness.
I have just returned from work. As usual, I am tired and hungry, but at least there was no traffic jam on my way home today.
My daughter is still in a kindergarten, and at 4 pm I must bring her home. After the kindergarten, we are planning to go buy her a doll. She has so many dolls and wants another one. As she says, I am collecting dolls.
But for me her dolls are a disaster. Our small room consists of 10 sq.meters, and there are lots of things ( my books, her toys) so the room gets messy so quickly. [Variant: ...there are so many things that the room gets messy....]
Today my mum fried potatoes, and I was treated by my friend to homemade marinated mushrooms. So, now I am going to add some white and red onions to the marinated mushrooms, and also add olive oil.
Again, in the morning I was short of time to have a hearty breakfast in order to keep full till my coming home.
I ate cheese and salami with bread and a bottle of kefir.
Unfortunately, tomorrow I work. I was assigned the task to be an invigilator [Amer.Eng: proctor [1]] at mock exams. It is so boring to look at the same faces three hours straight.
That's all for now.
Please keep, take care.
Yours,
N
[1] I had never heard the word "invigilator" before. Live and learn.
