What are the words used?
Farmers make partitions with earth and divide their agricultural land in to smaller divisions. I want to know the English words used for portions of the land which are marked 1 and 2 in the picture.

What are the words used?
Farmers make partitions with earth and divide their agricultural land in to smaller divisions. I want to know the English words used for portions of the land which are marked 1 and 2 in the picture.
1 = mounds of earth, small mud walls
2 = paddy field (if its for rice), allottment

The raised earth is often called a dike or dam. The ground in-between where the crops are planted is often referred to as a plot or tract.
