Main national championship in Brazil (Brasileirão) Here in Brazil we have a national championship called "Brasileirão". The main division has 20 teams and almost all the Brazilians roots for a team. The team that I root for is called Atlético Mineiro, our mascot is a roster, that's why a lot of people used to scream "Galão" and my team is playing. The translation for "Galão" is big roster, we used to call our team by the mascot type. Which team used to play at least 50 times a year and the matches used to happen twice a week, usually at Wednesday and Sunday. The number of matches that which team plays is different because besides the national championship we have a local one and there is a possibility to our teams qualifies to south america and world championships. If you have a favorite team one of the best things to do is go to the stadium. That's a lot of fun, big stadiums, people using jerseys, screaming, making noises and singing all the time during the game makes this an awesome experience. Here in Belo Horizonte when we can't go to the stadium we usually to go to pubs that show the game in big screens. That's a good experience too, you can go with your friends before the match to warm up, that way everyone got excited when the game starts. Wherever you go, stadiums, pubs, friends house, watch games in Brazil is an unique experience. Are you planing visit Brazil? You should add this item to you to do list!
