About my hometown My hometown is a small village, situated at the edge of our province. It takes about two-hour bus ride from our village to the city center. It's far from the city center, so people in my hometown don't go downtown often. People in our village live by planting and harvesting crops,so their income is largely dependant on the weather. If the weather that year appeals to the crops, peasents have good harvest. However, if they encounter extreme weathers such as drought and flood, they will suffer and may have no earnings, altough they have spent a great deal on the crops. Therefore, the local government should do more to attract investment, and help will creat more job opportunities for peasents. Otherwise, life would be hard for them if they did not have a good harvest.
