this is an ielts writing i wonder if any revise can be given ,many thanks! In this essay I will explore why air-transported food is pervasively accepted in local communities and its influence. There are several reasons for people’s acceptance of transported food via air. The major among many is its easy accessibility since more imported foods are now easily purchased by customers in supermarkets and online shops with modern transportation means and economic prosperity. Of course, people’s demand of diversified food choice also can be met by such kind of food. In other words, it provides people with various nutrition compared with local food. Another contributing factor would be competitiveness of the price. Although once beyond the consuming capacity of majority people, now the price of far-away transported food has been vastly lowered due to the reduction of air transport cost or specialized mass production. It is also worth mentioning that a proportion of areas and countries are originally not suitable or has become no longer suitable for vegetable growth or animal husbandry. So these areas have to heavily depend on transported food. The trade deficit imposed on such countries would be listed as one negative effect. But more broadly, the direct effect of such food is the extra cost of transport although the more often concerned one is the carbon emissions generated through the long distance instead of the premium. In addition, some are fearful that if such imported foods have easy access to the local markets, then the sales of local foods may be decreased, so that the local economy will be hindered; even some opponents of foreign transported food claim that government should place some regulations to limit the imported foods into national markets. The innovation of food transportation by air has enhanced the wellbeing of people and brought about challenges as well. In my opinion, the reduction of the carbon-print foot and resolution of trade balance mainly rely on sensible government policy.
