Could Amy Winehouse have been saved? Who´s to blame for Amy´s fall? Was it better for Amy to die? To give an answer to those questions is almost impossible from my point of view; nobody knows exactly what she had to go through, besides the breakup she had with her boyfriend there were a bunch of issues she could not handle, for instance, her alcoholism and her drugs abuse, one of those drugs that killed her slowly was fame, one of the drugs most dangerous worldwide in my opinion, there’s a lot of people who are not able to resist that kind of attention and they end up killing themselves as happened with many of the 27’s club, people really talented as Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison among others. Regarding the question could Amy have been saved? I strongly believe there was just one person able to save her and that person was her itself but maybe when she wanted to do it was too late she was already gone back to black. Besides it’s really hard to point at a guilty because her fall, her enemy number one was emptiness despite she was surrounded by much people the emptiness filled up her to the point of agony and for me that was the breakeven point, she was in her darkest hour and perhaps the only thing could set her free was death that’s why she took that decision, she needed a change in her life, a turning point and as she didn’t want to go to rehab her only way out was to die and to leave that hell she was living on earth.
