Summary - The main information was the summary of the report. Compromise - They compromised that they won´t travel next week.

Summary - The main information was summarized in the report.
Compromise - They agreed on a compromise that they won´t travel next week.

 

The problem with your second sentence is that it doesn't show the meaning of the word.
