Today was an exciting day

Hi! I'm I've been doing English a long time already. I really need it. I know I have some problems in vocabulary and writing (I mean writing letters and essays). I was trying to study by myself, so I woke up every day and promised that I would start right that day again(?). I realized that I needed to practice, particularly in my writing. I am a busy person, and so , of course, I have no time (I used to think). A week ago, I decided to hire a teacher. You know I have a bad character, I must always be the first best at what I do. I was the first a top student at the university, I am a good worker the first in my work, and I'm doing I have a good career now. I know if I have a teacher I would will try to be her best student. That's why I came to that decision decided to hire a teacher. I had my first trial lesson today and I'm very excited. I think I will approach my goal one day at a time. at least, I'll I will do my best. and This is the first time I'm writing something. I've always avoided it in the past.
