Kako si, Ivana?
( How are you Ivana?)

Hvala, dobro sam, a ti?
( I am good, thank you) Thank you (Hvala ti), I'm fine (dobro sam), and you (a ti)?

Ja sam također dobro. Ivana, ovo je John
( I am also good. Ivana, this is John)

Drago mi je. Kako ste, John?
( Nice to meet you. How are you John?)

Hvala, dobra.
( I am good (Dobro sam). Thanks (Hvala))

Johne, ne kaže se "dobra" nego "dobro". ali za početak je to izvrsno.

( John, you should say "dobro" instead of "dobra", but for the beggining (početak) it's excelente (odlično)*)

Ana, ovo je moja nova adresa.
(Ana, this is my new adress)

Sad živim u drugom dijelu grada.
(Now I live at the other part of town)

dio - part

grad - town, city

drugi - another, other (or second if it's about ordinal number like "he took a second (2.) place")

Thanks for help me

* This is not literal translation because I used condicional (should) in English and in Croatian it's not condicional but I can't figure out how it should be in English so that doesn't sound rude. It's something like: John, you can't (you shouldn't) say "dobra"...

"Kaže se" is reflexive construction; it refers to 3. person of singular, not to second like I translated in English.

I hope I won't confuse you.
