Buying Scientific Articles I just wanted to purchase some scientific papers from Elsevier site. Unfortunately, while I was purchasing the articles, I got an error message. It said my process was failed. I did try several times, but it didn't go through. However, I received an email from an Elsevier's seller with a content of describing several options to pay the fee such as transferring money into their bank account or sending them my credit card's number. After consulting my friends I chose to transfer money via a bank. I headed to a bank near my office and then asked them that I would like to transfer some money into the Elsevier's account to buy some articles. Sadly, a teller told that it was very difficult to transfer money abroad because of their policies. I asked them to explain in more detail, but their answers were not direct to my questions. Feeling bad, I got back my office and asked my friend who is currently working in UK whether he could help or not. Fortunately, he already helped me to purchase those articles and now I am still owing him. :)
