I just came back from my English conversation group which was from 6 to 7PM at the library.  Today two new people came to join us.  They both came from Colombia, and one of them spoke English fluently. I hope one day I will be able to speak and understand well, but it seems a long time from now to me.

You could also use an instead of my in the first sentence.  my personalizes it.

All refers to three or more. both refers to two.

Very is not required as fluently already implies command of the language.

You could also say 'It seems far-off to me' in the last sentence.

It's Colombia not Columbia. Columbia is the district where the capital city of the US is located. Colombia is a country located in South America.
