My day today

Today I had a good day. I won 20 euros at the lottery so I bought a big strawberry and cream (it's sounds more natural that way, in english try to put adjectives before the noun it completes) cake of strawberry and cream, it was delicious. Then, I went to the gym to get fit and lose (the right word for it would be 'burn all the calories'. The mindset is that you burn calories to lose weight!) all the calories of (or 'from the cake' but both are correct) the cake. Now I'm a bit tired so I went (or 'I'm going to bed' or 'I'll go to bed' depending on what you want to say) to bed to sleep all night long. Good night :)

Hope that help! I mostly put some clarifications about the right term to use to sound more natural :) Keep up the good work!
