Is Urbanization Making Our Life Better?(part one) With the expansion of great population and size of cities in China, urbanization has been greatly changing China recently. Literally speaking, urbanization is to migrate people from rural to urban areas, and thus improve quality of lives. In my opinion, urbanization is making our life better. My reasons are as follows First and foremost, urbanization will remove the gap between the rural and the urban, and balance regional development. As it is known to us that many rural residents in China live in remote areas where they have lower income compared to urban citizen and infrastructures and other services are not well-established. That is one of the major reasons why life in there are backward and productive forces are relatively weak. So it is necessary to carry out different types of urbanization programs to enable rural residents have equal opportunity for social welfare in terms of education, medical care, and housing conditions. In this way, they can benefit much from different types of urbanization programs in which government implement reforms to improve social systems like hukou, residential registration and invest much money in perfecting infrastructure construction. In this sense, urbanization surly improves the quality of lives and make rural residents lead a modern lifestyle. Second, government will create more jobs for migrants in the process of urbanization, and thus increase their incomes. People from rural areas count on farming and breeding to make a livelihood, but farming and breeding can’t guarantee a stable income every year. Natural disasters like flood may destroy farming land and cause a great loss to farmers. Consequently, getting a well-paid and stable job is the best choice for them to make. As new industrial enterprises, commercial fields, and tourism are developed through urbanization, certain jobs will be created for rural residents to meet demands of theirs. So urbanization will allow rural people to have a better way of living, and have potential for them to make a fortune in the future. Third, urbanization will expand consumption, unleash domestic demand. It’s a strong impetus for sustainable economic growth. With rapid development of new industries emerging and rise in income in urbanization, strong purchasing power of people will stimulate consumption and accelerate development.(to be continued)

Is Urbanization Making Our Life Lives Better?(part one)

With the great expansion of great population and size of cities in China, urbanization has been greatly changing China recently. Literally speaking, Urbanization is theto migratation of people from rural to urban areas, and thus seeking to improve the quality of their lives. In my opinion, urbanization is making our lives better. My reasons are as follows:
First and foremost, urbanization will remove the gap between the rural and the urban and balance regional development. As it is known to us that Many rural residents in China live in remote areas where they have lower incomes compared to urban citizens.  Also, the infrastructure and other services are not as well-established in rural areas. That is one of the major reasons why life in the country is seen as backward and the productive forces are relatively weak. So it is necessary to carry out different types of urbanization programs to enable rural residents have equal opportunity for social welfare in terms of education, medical care, and housing conditions. In this way, they can benefit much from different types of urbanization programs in which the government implements reforms to improve social systems like hukou, residential registration and the investment of money in infrastructure construction. In this way, urbanization will surly improve the quality of lives and help rural residents lead a more modern lifestyle.
Secondly, the government will create more jobs for migrants in the process of urbanization and thus increase their incomes. People from rural areas count on farming and breeding to earn their livelihood (or you could say to make their living), but farming and breeding can’t guarantee a stable income every year. Natural disasters like floods and draughts may destroy farm land and cause a great loss to farmers. Consequently, getting a well-paid and stable job is the best choice for them. As new industrial enterprises, commercial fields, and tourism are developed through urbanization, certain jobs will be created for rural residents to meet the demands of those industries. So urbanization will allow rural people to have a better way of life and have potential for them to make a fortune in the future.
Third, urbanization will expand consumption and unleash domestic demand. It’s a strong impetus for sustainable economic growth. With rapid development of new industries emerging and a rise in income from urbanization, the strong purchasing power of people will stimulate consumption and accelerate development.(to be continued)
