Lazy Japanese TV Industry

Few days ago, a famous(?) TV personality's came back comeback was aired on TV, who refrained from making public appearances after her scandalous of affair. I don't have any opinion on about her affair, in itself;now because that is not what I want to talk about/tell you about. mention is not itself. (I don't want to make any comments on her affair as that is not what I want to talk about.)

These days, TV programs' an audience rating TRP seems to be decreasing extremely in Japan. Then, sometimes, Recently, I've heard a rumor that is, TV project members/officials (TV industry related members/officials) prefer the celebrities who are notorious for the things, such as sex scandals, violent behaviour, addiction to drugs or alcohol, adultery, cheap language, and so on. They think/assume that said if a certain personality, who has committed a crime and has retired from on the stage, makes a comback comes back on with a special program, they must will definitely get high audience rating for that program.

I bet that is too optimistic. They may will never get high audience rating for one or two episodes, but they will never be able to retain it for long as their they are expecting. Because, they are, after all, only avoiding creating an elaborated TV program plan. What is more, they are no longer having the ability enough to come up with a really attracting attractive plan.

Should the such personalities be allowed to come be back on TV only to increase TRP? If whoever they are, According to me, their comeback should be reserved only for a that is not a stopgap situation. Also, strong measures should to be taken to polish and improve the ability of TV project members themselves! Even though I say all this, I have to admit that Though,off curse, there are, of course, a lot of fine programs on TV.
