I've recorded an old song called "wild world" by Cat Stevens where I'm singing with guitar. Could you check out my English-Russian pronunciation :)) And show me where are the problems? There is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhFWIFGV48Q Thanks in advance !!

I've recorded myself playing guitar and singing an old song called "Wild World" by Cat Stevens.

Could you check out my English pronunciation and let me know where there are the problems? I am guessing that you meant "my English pronunciation with my Russian accent" by writing "English-Russian pronunciation" but we don't say it like that and how I have written it here is correct. :)

I could understand everything perfectly. Your accent is noticeably Russian when you sing "wanna see a sad girl" (time = 1:18) and "it's a wild world." (time = 1:55); otherwise, you sound pretty American. :) Note that Brits and Americans pronounce "girl" slightly differently too. If you take a look at the two IPA encodings, you'll see it. Great job!

Thank you, Kimberly. Unfortunately my pronunciation is good only when I singing. The problem is that my teacher from the UK, and his pronunciation quite unlike American and as you know plenty of movies and series on American English, therefore that drives me crazy:)

Your pronunciation is very good. You have an almost perfect American accent. There is a slight Russian accent in your pronunciation of girl and world. The L is a little too heavy. It sounds like it might be too far back in your throat. I had to listen very closely to find any problems. Great job! :)
