Why opening on Bank holidays the llittle shops make worse their workers' life? When I was a child shops opened from 10 to 13 and from 17 to 20h, during the Saturday but not in Sunday. This last day was for relax. Nothing happened. The buyers were used to go shopping on Satuday. Nowadays big shopping centres open on bank holiday, for some workers there are not relax. Surely they don't have to work on Monday, but that day dhildren go to school. They cannot spend the Sunday with their family. They are losing something, the family life. Work have to be balanced the the family life and in this moment it is not.

Nowadays, big shopping centres open on bank holidays which means that for some workers do not have any time during the week to there are not relax.
Surely Of course, they don't have to work on Monday, but that day their children go to school. They cannot spend the Sunday with their family and  They are losing something very precious, their family life.
Work has to be balanced the the with family life and unfortunately, in this at the moment it is not.

Very true Lidia!  The same can be said for Canada.  Family time is being eroded and unfortunately, our societies will pay the consequences.  Keep up your good work!

Its all about the money. I dont know about other countries. But in the U.S. many people work on Saturdays. So their only "errand" day is on Sundays.
