Could someone correct my homework please? Thanks a lot Juan Pablo Romero Fuentes is an ordinary person who has done something extraordinary. He is 30 y.o. and he’s a Guatemalan teacher. Juan Pablo is also the founder of Los Patojos, this program offers free classes, tutoring and meals. When he became a teacher in his hometown, he found that many of his students were struggling with the same issues his generation had faced. In an interview to CNN, he said that most of kids in his city were forced to grow up in a very harsh environment filled with violence, drugs, gangs and crime. So, what did he do? Well, when he was 23 y.o. and with his parent's blessing, He turned part of his family's home into a community center. In 2006, he began tutoring and mentoring a handful of kids after school. Word spread quickly, and children from all over the community joined the group. His nonprofit, Los Patojos -- which translates to the Little Ones -- has helped an important number of children. While providing education, nutrition and health, los Patojos has implemented leadership and cultural development programs for children and young adults from four to eighteen years old. It gives them hope by giving them access to knowledge in a safe environment that promotes learning, growth, and development in a positive way. Last month, the worldwide leader in news, CNN, announced that Juan Pablo Romero was one of the Top 10 finalists for the CNN Heroes of 2014 award. CNN said that in the last six years, Romero Fuentes has helped at least 1000 children of Jocotenango, Guatemala, by providing them with the skills and basic necessities to help break the devastating cycle of poverty. CNN also announced that for being named Juan Pablo Romero a finalist by a CNN chosen committee, he will receive $25,000 to help his foundation. I strongly believe that Juan Pablo Romero is a real hero and a world changer because its important to take care of our children because they are the future of each country, and besides in a violent country, the only weapon we can have is love, so it’s important to teach the children about their value, how to struggle hard situations in life and social, political and cultural issues. Because they will learn the importance of moral courage, social justice and self-expression. To conclude, we should increase the number of this kind of foundations in our country, they are really important because it shows kids that they can pursue their own passions and dreams in order to improve their lives and families.

Juan Pablo Romero Fuentes is an ordinary person who has done something extraordinary. He is 30 years old and he’s a Guatemalan teacher. Juan Pablo is also the founder of Los Patojos. This program offers free classes, tutoring, and meals.
When he became a teacher in his hometown, he found that many of his students were struggling with the same issues his generation had faced.
In an interview to CNN, he said that most of kids in his city were forced to grow up in a very harsh environment filled with violence, drugs, gangs, and crime.
So, what did he do? Well, when he was 23 years old and with his parent's blessing,* he turned part of his family's home into a community center. In 2006, he began tutoring and mentoring a handful of kids after school. Word spread quickly, and children from all over the community joined the group. His nonprofit, Los Patojos -- which translates to the Little Ones** -- has helped a large number of children.
Besides providing education, nutrition, and health, Los Patojos has implemented leadership and cultural development programs for children and young adults from four to eighteen years old. It gives them hope by giving them access to knowledge in a safe environment. This environment promotes learning, growth, and development in a positive way.
Last month, the worldwide leader in news,*** CNN, announced that Juan Pablo Romero was one of the Top 10 finalists for the CNN Heroes of 2014 award. I strongly believe that Juan Pablo Romero is a real hero and a world changer because it's important to take care of our children because they are the future of each country.**** Besides in a violent country, the only weapon we can have is love, so it’s important to teach the children about their value, and how to struggle through hard situations in life and social, political, and cultural issues. Because of overcoming their struggles they will learn the importance of moral courage, social justice, and self-expression.
To conclude, we should increase the number of these kinds of foundations in our country. They are really important because it shows kids that they can pursue their own passions and dreams in order to improve their lives.

* Personally, I'd move "with his parent's blessing" to the end of the sentence so "...center with his parent's blessing, of course" but that's just my opinion. What you have is fine. I just feel it would read better if it were moved.

** I would move this up to the first mention of Los Patojos.

*** This is not necessarily needed.

**** I would say either "the world" or "our country."

Overall, you have wrote a very nice notebook entry! Los Patojos and Juan Pablo Romero are both amazing. He certainly is a hero.
