We often hear that our parents’ lives were difficult and that they didn’t have the entertaining and useful things that many children have today, like computers and mobile phones. Do today's children appreciate these devices? The majority of children get whatever they want at Christmas. Many receive more than one present and underestimate what they have. When they get tired of playing one computer game, they can play with their other ones. This was not possible years ago, as most children received just one present -- if they were lucky.
