Snow in New York can cause a floods American state New York is awaiting new snow storms. This week has fallen up to 2.1 meters of snow in some places. Meteorologists now forecast a rain instead of snow and local people are afraid of floods and roof damages. It's likely that roofs won't hold up a heavy snow (snow gets heavier due to a rain). One of local leaders have warn that "On Saturday will start raining". He adds up that "At first the rain won't cause a melt down. Snow will slowly start gaining water, but this proces won't last long." Thanks for your corrections. If there is someone who wants to speak (for example via Skype), feel free to contact me.
