Do you like travelling? In one exercise of my English book, a reading, the author was speaking about how deceiving holidays are, not only for him, for everybody. We wait for months for having free time, we spend a lot of time planning our trip, but in his opinion during travels there is something that always goes wrong. He argues we need to scape from the routime and the stress of our daily life and that is the reason that holidays become important. I don't really agree with him, I love holidays and travelling, I try not to give importance to the little things than go wrong. You know we can choose how react in front of a situation, you can choose being angry or trying to reduce its importance. If I am in holidays, I want not be worried. Do you like travelling?

In one exercise of from my English book, a reading, the author was speaking about how deceiving holidays are, not only for him, but for everybody. We wait for months for having our free time, we spend a lot of time planning our trip, but in his opinion during travels there is something that always goes wrong during our travel [you can also say "goes wrong on holiday"].
He argues we need to escape from the routine and the stress of our daily life and that is the reason that holidays become important. I don't really agree with him, I love holidays and travelling, I try not to give importance to the little things that go wrong. You know we can choose how to react in front of any situation, you can choose to being angry or trying to reduce its importance. If I am on holidays, I don't want not to be worried. Do you like travelling?

In one exercise of my English book, a reading, the author was speaking about how deceiving holidays are. Not only for him, but for everybody. We wait for months to have free time, and we spend a lot of time planning our trip, but, in his opinion, during travels there is something that always goes wrong (1).

He argues we need to escape from the routine and the stress of our daily lives and that is the reason [that](2) holidays become important. I don't really agree with him. I love holidays and travelling, and I try not to give importance to the little things than go wrong. You know we can choose how to react when confronted with a situation. You can choose being angry or trying to reduce its importance. If I am on vacation, I don't want to be worried. (My luggage has never been lost ;-) )

¡Buena escritura!

Notes / Notas:

1) The word order here is not incorrect as you have it written, but the following sounds a little more natural to me: "...but, in his opinion, something always goes wrong while travelling." La orden de las palabras no es incorrecta, pero me suena un poco más natural «...but, in his opinion, something always goes wrong while travelling».

2) It's ok to use "that" here again from a strictly grammatical standpoint, but I would omit it because it's a little redundant due to its previous use 3 words prior. Se puede usar «that» de nuevo pero yo la omitiría en este caso porque ya está usado 3 palabras antes.

An alternative writing for you, Lidia:

There is a reading in my English textbook about holiday travel. The author believes that no matter how much attention and planning we put into our travel plans, something always happens to cause anxiety. He writes that; because our lives are so stressful, we tend to assign a disproportionate level of importance to holidays, which in turn causes even more stress.

I disagree with the author. I cherish holiday travel. Sure; things can go wrong, but I am able to choose not to these let issues bother me. Luckily, my luggage has never been lost.
