To what extent do you agree or disagree? ____________________________________________________________________________________________ In an era of new technology, natural resources still play a key role in making our world function in a normal way. Some people think the best solution to address environmental deterioration, which results from taking advantage of too much fossil fuel, is to increase the price of fuel. From my perspective, such a conclusion is naive. First of all, increasing the price of fuel may have a negative impact on economy, Almost everyone relys on public transportation, industrial factories and so on, all of which are linked with the natural resources. Once the price changed, it would influence the whole world. Thus, the decision of increasing the price of fule shoud not be made so easily. Furthermore, personally, i think renewable technology and green energy can help people solve environmental problems. As is well known, renewable technology and green energy produce much less waste than fuel does. More importantly, the green energy, for example, the solar will never run out. On the flip side, I do agree with the view that we can benefit from increasing the price of fuel to a certain extent. The more expensive the natural resources are, the more attention people will pay to protecting environment. It is , however, in a small scale. So i still do not consider increasing the price as a practical way. To conclude, increasing the price of fuel may bring various unpredictable outcomes and there are obviously some better methods towards environmental control. We must figure out how to create a sustainable society as long as we want to live in this planet.
