I am from Taiwan and I major in linguistics. Here I need your help with the 'indirect question'. Please choose the answers you might use in either daily life or in a formal situation. Either native speakers or non-native speakers is fine for these questions. Don't worry, this is not used for any quizzes or homework of mine. To answer your question: all of the sentences can be used depending on the context of what you are writing. Note: They do NOT all mean the same thing though.
