I am a student

It is being so difficult to combine school and work. I need to be so very organized. And, of course, don't I mustn't forget my family, my boyfriend and my friends. They never forget me. I love stay spending time with them. They are so (or "really") funny and distract me. I love knowing that I can be studying what I want professionally, and to be so happy.

Funny - they tell jokes.

Fun - you have a good time with them.

Distract is not completely wrong, but it has a slight negative meaning - to take your mind away from what it is supposed to be concentrating on. Possibly, "help me disconnect".
