Prisioneros de la Piel You are discouraged when you look at yourself You feel like the time that goes by takes no pity on you and is eating you alive Today is not like yesterday, when all your innocence shone When finally the light calls you, you will abandon your heart beating. you will assimilate with the wind, that will lead you to a new reborn. your heart is sleaping now you already should go but you left behaind memories memories from yesterday that remind you that one day you were just one of those who once were here, one prisioners of the skin. ______________ This is an attemp to translate a song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znD8M-WnWqg

Prisioneros de la Piel- Prisoners of our own skin (1)

You are discouraged when you look at yourself
You feel like the time that goes by, takes no pity on you, and is eating you alive
Today is not like yesterday, when all your innocence shone (2)

When finally the light finally calls you, you will abandon your beating heart.
You will become one with the wind, and that will lead you to being reborn.

Your heart is sleeping now
You already should go already and leave behind your memories
Memories from yesterday that remind you that one day you were just one of those who were once here, one prisioners of our skin.

1)  We usually say "Prisoners of our own body", so I think it sounds a little more natural to add "our own" instead of the more literal "Prisoners of the skin".

2) This is grammatically correct and makes sense, but it's a little strange because it's not really an experssion I've ever heard or would use
