Letter of complaint Dear Sir, I have just returned from a weekend break at The Royal Hotel, and I'm afraid it was not a very enjoyable stay. Firstly there was a boring menu, and we couldn’t make a good choice of foods. There was only one soup for lunch during a weekend. It’s not a wide variety in the food. Secondly we waited a half an hour while the waitress took our order then another half an hour while the meal prepared. It’s was horrible. We started the lunch at twelve o’clok and we finished it half past one (13:30). Finally, and it’s the main problem, the staff was rude when I tried to complain about problems.
