INFORMAL LETTER Dear Jim, I’m writing you because of I want to thank the wonderful time I spent with you last weekend. On Saturday I enjoyed a lot during our visit around the city: we saw monuments, historic places, walked in natural views, and we also got a little time to go shopping in the evening! Finally, on Monday we got up late as we had enjoyed a fantastic night party. We were watching TV in your house until I had to come back home. It was an unforgettable weekend. I hope meet again you very soon! Best wishes, Anna

INFORMAL LETTER

Dear Jim,

I’m writing to you because of I want to thank you for the wonderful time I spent with you last weekend.

On Saturday I really enjoyed a lot during our visit around the city: we saw monuments, historic places, walked in natural views (¿caminamos en vistas naturales?), and we also got had a little time to go shopping in the evening!

Finally, on Monday we got up late as we had enjoyed a fantastic party the night before. We were watching TV in at your house until I had to come go back home.

It was an unforgettable weekend. I hope to meet see you again you very soon!

Best wishes,

Anna

Not bad. Be careful with the tone of the letter - informal. Teachers will say that "Dear" is very formal, for business letters or older people, (como el uso de "Usted" en español).

"Come" - venir

"Go" - ir. Depende de tu punto de vista.

Saludos,

Simón.
