My first note
Hi all!
Corrections in red. Stylistics and variants in blue.
My name is Vladimir. I live in Omsk, and I study information security in university [1]. I like to learn other languages and read books (especially Stephen King and H.P. [2] Lovecraft), but I have little time for this.
I also have a dog. His name is Baksik (in Russian, Баксик), and he likes to eat and to walk very much. Every summer he goes to the our country house, and he can walk there the whole day/... and he can walk there all day long.
Once he went to our neighbours' [3] (who live near us) to look at animals. There were rabbits, chickens, and one cat. Baksik came up towards the chickens, and tried to sniff them. Suddenly, one of the chickens pecked him on the nose. Now Baksik is more careful, but he is still inquisitive/curious.
The photo shows Baksik in the forest.
[1] When speaking with an American, you would say, "..... I study information security in college."
[2] Although his name was Howard Phillips Lovecraft, he is known in the literary world as H.P. Lovecraft.
[3] Use an apostrophe because it is understood that you mean, ".... our neighbors' (home/house/dacha/farm)."
