Composition for my english teacher Going to work abroad: an exciting opportunity or a scary one? Every time i think about my future, I imagine that going to work abroad would be an exciting experience. When I was 16 years old, I went to Scotland for three weeks to stady in a College. Iwas alone in a forein country. At the first it was scary but then, when I met other people I had a lot of fun and for me It has been the most amazing experience of my life. Of course,I had only 16 years old and i just had to study. Maybe now it will be quite different. Lots of my friends have gone to work abroad. Some of them are happy and satisfied, some of them are frustrated and sad. One of my best friend, some years ago, went to New York to work in a family who want an italian baby-sitter. At the biginning Alice was surprised but stunned by the caos of the city. Then she changed her ideas and told me that NY was the center of the world:" It has everything you could ever think about wanting. No matter who you are or what you are into, there will be friends for you and places to hang up",she said, "it's a urban jungle that has everything to offer to everybody". NY is always full of life and excitment.More than 170 different culture, mixed into the city makes it the one stop place to try many different cusines. About shopping, you can spend one whole year visiting a different store a day and never visit the same twice. Apartaments are great, streets always lively, mixed cultures, lots and lots of fun. Of course if you would have an easy life ,you have to work very hard. My friend Alice still live there and she is working in an Art Gallery. At the first, she worked as baby sitter, studied Arts, then she met her fiancè and she is going to marry him next year. She told me that if she hadn't gone to NY,she wouldn't have met her fiancè. For this reason, she's very happy and grateful to NY. On the other hand I have a friend,Letizia, who lives in Germany. Everytime she write me,she says she's vary sad. She Lives few Kilometres from Berlin and where she lives there's always fog and it rains everyday. People have a disperate need for rules, are unable to cope with them. She letf the love of her life because she thought she could do better in Germany .But in Germay she find only loneliness and sadness. For this reason I think that going to work abroad could be a big opportunity but you have to be willing to change, otherwise you could be unhappy and you experience could be a scary one.

Going to work abroad: an exciting opportunity or a scary one?

Every time I think about my future, I imagine that going to work abroad would be an exciting experience.

When I was 16 years old, I went to Scotland for three weeks to study in a College. I was alone in a foreign country. At the first it was scary but then, when I met other people I had a lot of fun and for me it has been the most amazing experience of my life.
Of course,I had was only 16 years old and I just had to study. Maybe now it will would be quite different.
Lots of my friends have gone to work abroad. Some of them are happy and satisfied, some of them are frustrated and sad.
One of my best friends, some years ago, went to New York to work in for a family who that wanted an Italian baby-sitter.
At the biginning Alice was surprised but stunned by the chaos of the city. Then she changed her ideas mind and told me that NY was the center of the world:" It has everything you could ever think about wanting. No matter who you are or what you are into, there will be friends for you and places to hang up out",she said, "it's an urban jungle that has everything something to offer to everybody".
NY is always full of life and excitment.More than 170 different cultures, mixed into the city makes it the one-stop place to try many different cuisines. About shopping, you can spend one whole year visiting a different store a day and never visit the same twice. Apartaments are great, streets are always lively,(mixed cultures) it's multicultural, and lots and lots of fun.
Of course if you would like to have an easy life ,you have to work very hard. My friend Alice still lives there and she is working in an Art Gallery. At the first, she worked as a baby sitter, studied Arts, then she met her fiancè and she is going to marry him next year. She told me that if she hadn't gone to NY,she wouldn't have met her fiancè. For this reason, she's very happy and grateful to NY.
On the other hand I have a friend,Letizia, who lives in Germany. Everytime she writes to me,she says she's very sad.
She lives few kilometres from Berlin and where she lives there's always fog and it rains everyday. People have a desperate need for rules, they are unable to cope with them.(with them - do you mean with the rules?)
She left the love of her life because she thought she could do better in Germany .But in Germay she found only loneliness and sadness.
For this reason I think that going to work abroad could be a big opportunity but you have to be willing to change, otherwise you could be unhappy and your experience could be a scary one.
