Health, Entrepreneurs and Politicians.

Today there is a common point of view, against modern medicine. People like to ignore the fact that because of modern medicine we are living longer and healthier lives.  Of course it's true that (This is not required, but I'm adding it because it's how a native speaker would typically express this sentiment) modern medicine is not perfect and the pharmaceutical industry just wants your money, but that doesn't mean modern medicine isn't better than the old medicine. The real problem is that people get so upset when someone is taking their money even if (I think when sounds a little more natural here, but if is not wrong) they are getting a good service. On the other hand, they don't care if the government is taking their money to increase bureaucracy, state power and surveillance over themselves.
¿Why do most the people hate the rich even when they are creating solutions, providing good services and making cheaper technology?

I would appreciate your corrections and opinions.

I think a lot of people have essentially been brainwashed into believing that all rich people are evil and the government can do no wrong.  It's rather absurd to me that so many people seem to think that way.
