前言 (Introduction)

大家好,我叫科林(Colin)。 我在美国是一名数学的研究生,主攻数学。我已经五个月学习汉语已经五个月了。我知道能写九百左右个中文字,但是我的汉语说得很棒。我想提高我的汉语,也想朋友。

````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
错别字用绿色的标记出来了。其实中国大陆使用的汉语造句的结构和英文很多是类似的,所以很多可以直接使用英语语法进行汉语的造句。例如第三句,照搬英语语法就没有问题。
the first sentance "大家好,我叫科林(Colin)", this is right
the 2nd sentance "我在美国是一名数学的研究生,主攻数学。", i change some word, this will be more better, coz we don't use the long sentance too much, if it is unnecessary。
the 3rd sentance: "我学习汉语已经五个月了", use the chinses word and english grammar, then , done
the 4th-7th sentance:"我能写九百个左右的个汉字,但是我说的汉语说得不是很棒。我想提高我的汉语,也想交些朋友。"  i change some word, and the word"不“,means ”no“,the word ”不是“ means ” be not", so i think maybe you confuse that
PS:the title "Introduction", we translate the word in chinese is "介绍“or”前言“, but "前言”we just use it in book or some serious articles. "前言” in chinese means "the word writen befor the articles", so~~i think use  "介绍“or”自我介绍“ is better.
hope this will be helpful
If you want learn Chinese,you must know some grammer. (定语attributive)主语+(状语adverbial)谓语predicate(补语)+(定语attributive)宾语/ noun as(补语) (attributive) subject + predicate (complement) (adverbial) + (attributive) object (complement) By this order as you can see, the attributive is a noun or noun phrase (composition is mainly the subject and the object) by modifying its before and restrictions, adverbial is the predicate (including verbs and verbal phrases and adjectives and adjective phrases) before the modification and restrictions.
