Cultural hot-pot (one of my English exam topics) As is vividly dipicted in the drawing, there is a hot-pot which is full of different kinds of cultures instead of foodstuff.With a sentence below it,"cultural hot-pot is very delicious and nutrient" the picture shows us the diversity of cultures in today' society. With the development of economy,culture-exchanges has become an irresistible trend.For example, some foreign festivals like Christmas are very popular with Chinese young people.Thus raised those questions to us:how to accept foreign culture without losing our own uniqueness and how to combine developing modern civilization with inheriting traditional civilization? From a personal point of view,i am delight to witness the culture-exchanges between different times and countries.As an old saying goes"accept all as the sea is converged by all rivers",which tells us that we should hold an open-minded attitude towards the cultural hot-pot.Only we are generous enough to allow the co-existence of varieties of cultures,can we make a great contribution to human civilization.
