The Right Foot Award

“The Right Foot Award” is an important event which makes a tribute to the supportive people. Currently, we live in a selfish society. We are worried about our job, our car, our relatives and our salary. However, almost nobody worries about helping the needy people. We must be more sympathetic and give a hand to whoever needs it.

The awarded people should be the right person, namely honest, truthful, concerned about the penniless people and the underfed children. Someone who does his best to change the bad things and make a better world.

For that reason I appoint Paco as a candidate for “The Right Foot Award”. Paco is an old man who has been working as a waiter in his own bar since he was young. Although he works almost ten hours per day, he is not a rich man. He has difficulty to make ends meet. Paco is generous and respectful towards his friends. He always has time to help others.

Last Christmas, Paco did an amazing thing. Every year, he buys some lottery tickets and sells them to his customers. Then, all of them waited until the day of the raffle to know if they have won the prize. But the last year, Paco’s best customer did not buy a ticket. He could not do it because he was abroad.

When Paco’s best customer returned, he turned up at the bar to have a coffee. It was astonishing when he realized that all the customers of the bar won the prize and Paco had kept a winning ticket for him.

In my point of view, it is important to award these anonymous people. I am absolutely positive that Paco is the right candidate for this award.
