How it is to go for a walk in New York the first days of February ? This is an English logbook, as well as a question for New Yorkers: I was wondering how it is to go for a walk in New York (e.g., walk by Manhattan's tourist attractions) in the first days of February ? It is totally crazy to go for a walk on these period of the year ? Or if you are well sheltered, then you can walk from one spot to another without problem. How many degrees (fahrenheit) it is the average temperature there ? People that you meet on the streets are friendly (e.g., to ask how to reach some address) ? thanks!

Just some minor corrections. Your writing is pretty good! I'm from New York so I can answer these questions for you!

Going for a walk in New York is very nice at times. Everywhere and everything is either in walking distance or just a subway ride away. It's definitely not crazy to go on a walk during February, it can be quite pleasant as long as you wear winter clothes. The temperature at the moment is 37 degrees fahrenheit but it can get as cold as 20 degrees sometimes! There have also been days where it's been almost 50 degrees, so it depends. As for the people you meet on the street, most people are usually nice enough to give you directions. Some people might be rude but that's only if they're in a rush. I hope this helps!
