こんいちはみんなさん!
すみません、わたしはあたらしいしごとがあります。すこしべんきょうしました。
きょうわたしはかんじをしました。

What I tried to say:
Hello everyone!
Sorry, I have a new job. I have studied little.
Today, I did Kanji.
Kanji is fun, but the grammar is difficult. 本 means book AND present? A little cool, but....what?

What I want to say more elaborately:
Hey everyone! Sorry, I have a new job so it's been difficult to study for the past month. Today I did a little bit of Kanji and found that it is a bit difficult. Some kanji has various meanings. Not to mention there is the On'Yomi and the Kun'Yomi. I sort of understand the difference, but researching about how to read kanji isn't enough. I need verbal..I need to hear. I wish I were going to school for this, but my research of this language is all I have. There are so many questions that I am not ready to overwhelm in this journal entry for the sake of potential readers. I'm not giving up though!!!! Kanji is therapeutic and fun!!! ¡Me encanta!
