Translation The hot-words in china is always being considered as social culture and the changing society, some of them become more and more popular in presses all over the world. For example, tuhao and dama are all old words, but they all have been given the totally new meaning. "tuhao" used to mean village landlord who always oppress servants and tenants, but now it means the rich who spend money like water and like to show off their wealth. That is to say, tuhao has plenty of money but little taste. "dama" means women in middle age, but now it particularly refers the middle-aged women in China who snapped up large stocks of gold when the price of gold plunged not long ago. The words "tuhao" and "dama" will probably be included in the next version of Oxford English dictionaries. There already have about more than 200 Chinese words that have been written in Oxford English dictionaries, becoming a part of English language.
